Monoclonal Antibody Treatment

September 16, 2021

Thank you for your referral for Monoclonal antibody therapy at Mount Nittany Health. Unfortunately at this time, we have exhausted our supply of medication and are unable to schedule persons for monoclonal antibody therapy. Due to the increased demand for monoclonal antibody therapy medications across the state, the state has moved to a critical access allocation system.  We continue to monitor this situation daily for information regarding medication availability. We will evaluate and prioritize need at the time the medication becomes available. At this time, we do not have a timeline for when the medication will become available. We acknowledge that this is an extremely frustrating situation and apologize for the inconvenience this may be causing. Please contact your healthcare provider for guidance related to managing your COVID 19 symptoms and seek emergency treatment for symptoms such as shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.

By completing this form, your patient will be included in the randomized selection process that Mount Nittany Health is using to determine who will receive monoclonal antibody treatment. Completion of the form does not guarantee that your patient will receive the antibody treatment. View the form here.
