Mount Nittany Health is pleased to announce that Casey Wineland, CRNP, has joined Mount Nittany Health at our Blue Course Drive location in State College. Casey joined Mount Nittany Health in April at our Bellefonte location and as part of a larger initiative to grow primary care, she has recently relocated to Mount Nittany Health – Internal Medicine at Blue Course Drive.

Casey earned her Bachelor of Science Nursing from Waynesburg University, a Master of Science Nursing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science Nursing from Bloomsburg where she became a family nurse practitioner.

“I was a critical care nurse at Mount Nittany Health for eight years before I became a nurse practitioner,” said Casey. “This allows me to further impact our community on a more direct and personal level since I’m now able to follow my patients throughout their lives. The mission of Mount Nittany aligns with my personal goals and philosophy of care for my patients.”

Being part of the community is an important part of Casey’s life. Her husband and daughter are Penn State sports fans, enjoying football, hockey, and wrestling and they also support local organizations like the Arc of Centre County and Rising Hope Therapeutic Riding Center.

“I get such a sense of satisfaction getting to know and taking care of the people in the community where I live,” said Casey. “I feel providing my patients with the best care I can provide makes our community stronger.”

Mount Nittany Health’s team of over 170 healthcare providers in more than 30 specialties serves the community in 17 convenient locations across the region. To make an appointment call 814-231-7000.
