Mount Nittany Health is pleased to announce the recipients of the four Patient C.A.R.E Awards and the Advanced Practice Professional Excellence Award.

The Patient C.A.R.E. Awards and the Allied Health Professional Excellence Award are awarded to non-physician staff members nominated by physicians for their outstanding performance and commitment to making people healthier.

The Advanced Practice Professional Excellence Award was awarded to Eric Kroner, PA-C, MNPG Intensivist. The Allied Health Professional Excellence Award honors an allied health staff member who upholds the standards of clinical care through excellence, service, citizenship and innovation.

The Patient C.A.R.E. Awards honor excellence in patient care and services in four categories: Clinical, Administration, Research and Education. This year’s recipients are:

  • Clinical Patient CARE Award - Rachel Latchford, RN, Women and Children's Services
  • Administrative Patient CARE Award – Samantha Rosefsky, Service Excellence
  • Research Patient CARE Award – Tom Charles, Executive Vice President, System Development and Chief Strategy Officer
  • Education Patient CARE Award – Diane Elliott, RN, Professional and Organizational Development
