Mount Nittany Health is pleased to announce the addition of Kayla Thompson, MSN, CPNP-PC, to Mount Nittany Physician Group Pediatrics.

Mount Nittany Physician Group offers family medicine and pediatrics practices at six convenient locations throughout the region.

“I focus on helping kids, families, and caregivers establish healthy habits and become advocates for themselves,” said Kayla. “Pediatrics is a unique opportunity to help kids and their families be successful as they move throughout their lives.”

Kayla is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care. She is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses.

“Mount Nittany’s pediatrics specialty has a wonderful group of providers and staff that can truly serve as a primary care home for patients and families,” said Kayla. “I think a supportive primary care practice like Mount Nittany is a really great place for patients and families.”

Kayla received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Juniata College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University. Her professional experience includes time at community and specialized pediatric care centers in Central Pennsylvania and Ohio, most notably at Akron Children’s Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic.
