Mount Nittany Health is pleased to announce the opening of its new Dermatology location, situated on the upper level of 100 Scenery Drive, in State College.
To better serve our dermatology patients and provide better space for the dermatology team, Mount Nittany Health made plans to move the Dermatology practice into a new, more spacious location. Many team members were instrumental in completing the office transformation, and we’re thrilled that Mount Nittany Health’s Dermatology practice could begin seeing patients at the new location in January.
“This project came together for us in a very short timeframe,” explained Traci Evans, Practice Manager, Dermatology, Mount Nittany Health. “Coordinating everything around the holiday season was a bit of a challenge, especially with limited staff, but our incredible team pulled together to help transition into the new and improved space.”
Before welcoming patients on Tuesday, January 17th the Dermatology team celebrated the opening of the facility with coffee, breakfast treats and balloons. Traci discussed the opening of the Scenery Drive location: “This lovely new space offers a great deal of natural light, which will be such a moral boost for staff and patients alike. We are also excited to have plenty of parking next to the building and street level entry, without stairs or elevators. This will allow for easy access for our patients who are our top priority.”
In addition to having six bright and spacious exam rooms and offices for providers, the new location also has a nice area for staff to unwind. Additionally, there are multiple walking paths that will offer team members opportunities to enjoy nature during their lunch break.
“I know I speak for everyone when I say we are really looking forward to welcoming patients and visitors to our new space,” said Traci.
