Mount Nittany Health Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is pleased to announce a generous donation from Arize Federal Credit Union. The $5,000 donation will help support the CAC’s mission of being a community-based, child-focused center that facilitates a compassionate, multidisciplinary approach to the prevention, identification, intervention and treatment of child abuse.

“It’s great to know the community cares about the work we do to help victims of child abuse in the Centre Region,” said Diana McWilliams, Executive Director, Children’s Advocacy Center, Mount Nittany Health. “Thank you to Arize for their continued partnership and their outstanding commitment to our work.”

Christa Hosterman, Marketing Manager and Mary Potter, Marketing Specialist from Arize Federal Credit Union presented the check to the CAC on Thursday, June 29th.

Since 2014 Mount Nittany Health’s Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of Centre County has been a vital first step in the difficult journey to healing and hope for area children. Now in its 10th year, the CAC has received nearly 3,000 referrals and completed more than 1,900 medical exams and 2,300 forensic interviews.

If you know or suspect a child is experiencing abuse, please call Pennsylvania's toll-free, 24-hour reporting ChildLine at 1-800-932-0313 immediately, or contact your local police department. You do not need proof of abuse to make a report.
