Mount Nittany Health Executive Vice President Tiffany Cabibbo named Nurse of Note

Tiffany Cabibbo, DSc, MSN, RN, CENP was named a 2022 Nurses of Note by PerfectServe, a leading provider of clinical collaboration services. Cabibbo currently serves as Executive Vice President, Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Mount Nittany Health and was among 130 winners from 41 states and countries.

Since joining Mount Nittany Health in 2018, Cabibbo has led the nursing staff throughout the health system. She is part of a dynamic leadership team that manages the continuum of services and aligns inpatient and outpatient services for Mount Nittany Health. She has been a champion of excellence in patient care, and has worked diligently to ensure that Mount Nittany Health employees receive the support they need to care for others. She has also played a pivotal role in the planning and design of patient-centered, state-of-the-art facilities that include: a new 10-story patient tower at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, an outpatient center at Toftrees West, an award-winning Women and Children’s Services Unit, a diagnostic pavilion, a new dialysis unit, and a new laboratory services unit.

"Tiffany is not only an amazing nurse, but also an accomplished leader,” says nominator Kim Kennedy, Director of Professional Practice and Innovation at Mount Nittany Health. “She takes great pride in mentoring other nurses in leadership and being a champion for continuing education. Her dedication to the teams she leads, the communities we serve, and the organization has never faltered. She remains compassionate, empathetic, and determined to ensure that our teams, the organization, and the community continue to receive the care and compassion they need and deserve,"

Cabibbo earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing, Administrative & Financial Leadership from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. Cabibbo also earned an Executive Doctor of Science in Healthcare Leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
