We are administering the COVID-19 vaccine according to availability of vaccine and the phases from the PA Department of Health.

As has been reported, we have received two allotments of vaccine through the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) and are administering these vaccines based on guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and DOH.

Mount Nittany Health announced today that it has received a shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, enabling it to expand its vaccination program.

Over the course of five days, Mount Nittany Health immunized a total of 1,223 of its providers and staff against COVID-19 with the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.

The virtual gratitude board allows community members to post their notes, images, and videos of encouragement and thanks to our staff. Viewers can also share posts on the board with popular social media sites like Facebook and Instagram.

As COVID-19 cases increase significantly in our community, Mount Nittany Health is taking actions to urge community members to practice behaviors, like wearing a mask and physical distancing, to help prevent COVID-19.
