Specialties and Biography

Dr. Kocher’s most recent position was Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing for Confluence Health in Wenatchee, Washington. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from Rutgers University and his medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Kocher completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and fellowships in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology through Naval Medical Center San Diego and the University of Maryland, respectively. He is board certified in the fields of cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.

Dr. Kocher has a long history of military service, most recently serving as a Commander in the United States Navy, stationed in San Diego. He has held academic appointments as a clinical instructor at Puget Sound Family Medicine Residency in Bremerton, Washington and a clinical associate professor at the University of Washington in Seattle.

“My inspiration as a physician has always been the satisfaction I get from being able to change a person’s life for the better,” says Dr. Kocher. “My biggest reward is simply knowing that I have made a difference for them.”
