“As a surgeon, there’s no greater reward than helping another,” says Dr. Chambers. “I treat each patient as if they’re a member of my own family. To see their health improve after surgery, knowing that I played any part in that, is incredibly meaningful.”

Dr. Chambers earned his bachelor’s degree from Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, and completed post-baccalaureate work in pre-medicine at West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Chambers completed his general surgery residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Ft. Lewis, Washington. He spent nine years on active duty, recently separating as a Major from the U.S. Army. Dr. Chambers is a licensed osteopathic physician and board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

“Having been born and raised in Pennsylvania, I’m so excited to now be part of this wonderful community,” says Dr. Chambers. “My wife and I look forward to calling the area home.”

*Dr. Chambers admitted he had not reviewed my chart, he talked extremely fast when explain the proposed procedure and the risk. Not once did he look directly at me or refer to me by name. As a result, I decided not to have the proposed procedure. I'm sure he is a very good doctor but not the one for me.
