Dr. Gerardo earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from The Pennsylvania State University and a Doctor of Medicine and a Ph.D. in physiology from East Carolina University School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine specializing in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease.
The cardiology team at Mount Nittany Health strives to treat patients long before they face a cardiac event that might require an invasive procedure. In addition to a broad range of invasive and interventional procedures, Mount Nittany Health offers non-invasive tests to assess heart function to prevent the onset of heart disease.
