About Me
Christopher Hester, MD, is an internal medicine physician at Mount Nittany Health. He also serves as Chief Medical Officer for the Mount Nittany Physician Group, where he is committed to strengthening healthcare delivery across Centre County and ensuring that patients throughout the region receive exceptional, accessible care.
Dr. Hester chose a career in medicine out of a genuine desire to care for others and help people live as fully and healthily as possible. Over nearly 30 years in internal medicine, he has built a practice centered on managing chronic medical conditions, supporting patients through every stage of their health journey.
His approach to care is grounded in compassion, attentiveness and patient-focused decision-making. He takes the time needed to address each concern thoroughly, ensuring patients feel heard and supported. His most frequent advice is simple but powerful: maintain a healthy diet and engage in regular physical activity to support long-term wellness.
Outside of work, Dr. Hester enjoys boating and mountain biking, taking advantage of the region’s natural beauty.
