About Me
Christopher Yingling, MD, MS, is a urologist specializing in prostate, kidney and bladder cancer, as well as robotic abdominal and pelvic surgery, benign prostatic disease and kidney stone disease. As Medical Director of Surgical Services, Dr. Yingling leads the surgical division of the physician network.
Dr. Yingling was inspired to pursue medicine by the strong role models in his family and the meaningful relationships he saw them build with their patients. Drawn to a field that blends problem‑solving with hands‑on skill, he found a natural fit in surgery — especially in caring for patients with urologic cancers.
Patients often describe Dr. Yingling’s communication style as casual, comfortable and easy to talk to. He aims to make every conversation feel like speaking with a trusted friend or family member. His most frequent advice: trust your body — if something feels off, advocate for yourself until you have answers.
Outside of work, Dr. Yingling enjoys running, golf, woodworking, reading and keeping up with his kids’ activities. He is an active member of both the American Urological Association and the European Association of Urology.
