Dawn Rosenbaum, PA-C, combines medical expertise, a dedication to community and a commitment to inclusive, consent-based care for all patients.

Dawn’s journey into healthcare began with a desire to work alongside local community groups to create meaningful change. Empowering patients to take an active role in their healthcare is central to Dawn’s approach. "Your job as a patient is to make an educated decision. No one can care more about patient care than the patient,” she says.

Dawn finds motivation in equipping people with tools to live healthier lives and enjoy moments that matter most. Their approach prioritizes respect, listening and valuing every individual.

Dawn earned a Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Lock Haven University and graduated with high honors from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Microbiology and Medicine, Minor in Chemistry).

Dawn’s clinical experience spans gastroenterology, emergency medicine, OB/GYN, internal medicine, urgent care, pediatrics, family practice and trauma surgery/emergency general surgery.

In addition to providing care, Dawn is a community advocate. They are the Company Director of Happy Valley Improv and actively learning Spanish and American Sign Language to enhance communication with patients.

Their dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed. In 2022, Dawn received the Geisinger Top Patient Experience Clinician award. As a member of the DEIB+ Advocacy Committee of Centre County, Dawn continues working toward a more inclusive and equitable healthcare experience for everyone.
