About Me

Born and raised in central PA, Lucas W. Irwin, DO, brings a deep sense of hometown pride to his role as a family medicine provider. His path into medicine was set in motion by Dr. Gianopoulos — affectionately called “Dr. Pat” — who inspired him to pursue this career path and return home to care for the community.

“I am blessed to be able to serve my hometown where the people I treat are more than just a name on a screen,” he says. “They are family members and friends.”

Dr. Irwin specializes in treating chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, managing acute illnesses, conducting annual wellness exams, well child visits and practicing addiction medicine. He encourages open conversations on even the most sensitive topics and emphasizes shared decision-making, empowering patients to take an active role in their healthcare.

When he’s not at work, Dr. Irwin enjoys spending time with his wife and children, hunting and angling in the region's beautiful outdoors, cooking and unwinding with the occasional video game and cooking show.
