Mount Nittany Health Welcomes Board-Certified Dermatologist Lorraine Rosamilia, MD

Mount Nittany Health is pleased to welcome Lorraine Rosamilia, MD, a board-certified dermatologist with more than 16 years of experience, to its growing provider team. Dr. Rosamilia is now accepting new patients at Mount Nittany Health Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine in State College.

A native of Lock Haven, Dr. Rosamilia has spent her career caring for patients across central Pennsylvania. She provides comprehensive dermatologic care for patients of all ages, including the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, acne, infectious diseases of the skin, and a wide range of rashes and growths. She also offers the flexibility of telehealth appointments, so patients can receive care from anywhere.

Dr. Rosamilia’s philosophy of care is rooted in compassion and attentiveness. “If it bothers you, it bothers me,” she said, reflecting her commitment to addressing every patient concern with expertise and empathy.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Rosamilia is an active leader in healthcare advocacy and education. She serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) and is a delegate to the American Medical Association (AMA). She participates in state and national advocacy conferences and is dedicated to mentoring dermatology residents, medical students, physician assistant students and nursing staff. She also lectures at national and regional conferences, working to advance policies that improve healthcare for patients and physicians alike.

Dr. Rosamilia earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from the University of Richmond, graduating summa cum laude with a minor in Chemistry. She received her Doctor of Medicine from Penn State University College of Medicine at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where she also completed an internal medicine internship and dermatology residency.
