What’s the difference between cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery?
Cosmetic plastic surgery and reconstructive plastic surgery are terms sometimes used interchangeably, but there are differences. Cosmetic procedures are elective, like facelifts or liposuction, while reconstructive procedures, such as breast reconstruction or scar revision, address medical needs
