Ears

Otolaryngologists handle the medical and surgical treatment of hearing, ear infections, balance disorders, ear noise (tinnitus) and nerve pain. Surgeons at the Surgical Center can insert bilateral myringotomy tubes.

Audiology services are provided by a licensed, certified doctor of audiology and include:

Head

Otolaryngology focuses on the nerves that control the face, sight, smell, and hearing, including facial and cranial nerve disorders.

Throat

Otolaryngologists treat speech and swallowing disorders and diseases of the larynx (voice box) and the vocal chords. They also treat reflux conditions and advanced tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy procedures at the Surgical Center.

Nose

ENTs commonly treat problems with nasal obstruction, and sinus problems that can make it difficult to breathe or cause head pain. Surgeons perform procedures using Fusion Compact™ and endoscopic sinus surgeries, and nasal fracture repair.
