Maternal mental health challenges are far more common than most people realize, and they impact entire families and communities. In fact, maternal mental health conditions are the leading cause of maternal mortality in the U.S. (CDC).
If you’re facing sleepless nights, identity changes, feeding struggles or the ups and downs of postpartum emotions, you’re not alone. Motherhood Unfiltered offers a warm, judgment‑free space for postpartum mothers to find connection, community and honest conversations about life after birth.
The following meetings will be at the Schlow Centre Region Library*:
- Monday, June 1, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
- Tuesday, July 14, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
- Wednesday, Aug. 5, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Starting September: Monthly recurring meetings (more information to come).
Bring your baby, take a breath and join a circle of women who truly get it. This group is for postpartum mothers and their babies. Siblings ages 5 and under are welcome too.
