Mount Nittany Health Foundation hosts a variety of donor engagement, education, and fundraising events. Our signature events are the Charity Ball and the Golf Classic.
Charity Ball
The Charity Ball is one of the most prestigious fundraisers in our community. Through the Charity Ball, the Foundation has raised funds for the Family Medicine Residency Program, Behavioral Health, Children’s Advocacy Center, and the Joseph V. and Suzanne P. Paterno Women and Children’s Services Unit at Mount Nittany Medical Center. The 75th Annual Charity Ball, held February 10, 2024, raised $507,750 for Mount Nittany Health’s new Patient Tower, scheduled to open in 2026.
Golf Classic
Since its inception in 1991, the Mount Nittany Health Golf Classic has raised millions of dollars to help advance healthcare in the Centre region. This event brings together golfers of all levels for a day of fun, camaraderie, and healthy competition on the best courses in the area. The event features several fun challenges and concludes with dinner and an awards reception.
