Mount Nittany Health Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery is officially changing its name to Mount Nittany Health Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine.

The new name more accurately depicts the high standards met by our plastic surgeon, Dr. Emily Peterson. As a board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Peterson has completed general surgery and plastic surgery training and rigorous oral and written board exams.

Additionally, medical spa services including BOTOX®, fillers, lasers, Ultherapy®, hair removal, chemical peels, anti-aging and anti-acne facials, microneedling, Sculptra, CoolSculpting®, etc. are available at Mount Nittany Health Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine.

“The new name better reflects the services we excel at providing and the level of expertise our patients expect,” said Dr. Peterson. “We also have been offering nonsurgical aesthetic procedures for almost 15 years and feel this name will help the community understand the full complement of services we offer.”

A graduate of Cornell University, Dr. Peterson earned her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine, where she was awarded the Donald R. Cooper, MD Award for Excellence in Surgery. Her residencies included general surgery and plastic & reconstructive surgery at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown.

Two physicians assistants, Eileen Maney, PA-C and Mallory Miller, PA-C, and Lashelle Kuhlman, Aesthetician, make up the team at Mount Nittany Health Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine.
