About Me
A specialist in cancer care, Dr. Abhishek Seth's decision to join Mount Nittany Health is grounded in his deep commitment to medical excellence.
Dr. Seth earned a medical degree from the Government Medical College and Hospital in Chandigarh, India. He served his residency in Internal Medicine at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker, M.D., School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, MI. He went on to pursue a Fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at Ascension in Detroit, MI, where he also served as Chief Fellow in Hematology-Oncology, demonstrating his dedication to advancing his skills in cancer care.
Dr. Seth believes in a patient-centric approach, emphasizing informed decision-making, thorough exploration of treatment options, and collaborative discussions with patients to determine the most suitable care plan. His specialized expertise includes a wealth of experience in breast cancer care, which he aims to further enhance within Mount Nittany Health's growing cancer care services. Additionally, his advanced training in hematology from the Mayo Clinic has equipped him to address conditions such as multiple myeloma and related hematological disorders. Dr. Seth is keenly interested in clinical research and has won multiple awards for research. His work has been peer reviewed and published in high impact journals.
When not providing specialized cancer care to his patients, Dr. Seth is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new places. He maintains an active lifestyle, regularly reading about history, running, and working out at the gym. He also has a passion for photography and captures moments during his travels. Dr. Seth is fluent in several languages, including Hindi, Punjabi, and English.
