Dr. Geiger earned his medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

Mount Nittany Physician Group urologists are experts in all aspects of this specialty, including cancers, trauma, diseases, and infections, as well as treatment of erectile dysfunction and performing vasectomies. Urologists can diagnose and treat a wide variety of urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and cancers of the bladder, kidney, and prostate, as well as enlargement of the prostate.

Treatment can include prescribed medications as well as ultrasound and biopsy procedures, lithotripsy to break up kidney stones, chemotherapy, and cystoscopy. Experienced surgeons perform urologic procedures at both Mount Nittany Medical Center and Mount Nittany Health Surgical Center.

Dr. Geiger joins a team of urologists with expertise in procedures such as brachytherapy, an internal radiation treatment that involves using radioactive material to deliver a high dose of radiation to attack cancerous tumors while minimizing damage to surrounding tissues and organs; and robotic procedures used for prostate cancer or kidney cancer patients.

“My spouse, Samantha Nguyen, is also a physician at Mount Nittany Health (obstetrics and gynecology), and I wouldn't have made it to this point without her or without the support of my parents,” he says.

Outside the office, Dr. Geiger enjoys golf, cycling, and craft beer.
