Darren Petrunak, CRNP

Previously, Darren worked as a critical care nurse in the Mount Nittany Medical Center intensive care and the progressive care units. He has an Associate of Science in Nursing from Mount Aloysius College, a Bachelor of Science from Saint Francis University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Bloomsburg University. Darren’s education and advanced clinical training prepared him to earn his certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Darren has worked as a nurse for seven years starting at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital and now at Mount Nittany Health. He was inspired by his parents, both nurses, to pursue a nursing career. In his own career, he has developed a passion for helping patients with obesity and weight management.
A curious person by nature, Darren has many hobbies including cooking, drawing, painting, martial arts, scuba diving, and reading.
