Deanna Johnson, DPT, CLT

Deanna Johnson, DPT, CLT, specializes in fitness and rehabilitation at Mount Nittany Health, where she provides care to both pediatric and adult patients. Originally from State College, Pa., Deanna returned home after earning her undergraduate degree from Penn State, completing her doctorate at St. Francis University and spending 10 years away furthering her career. She is proud to serve the community that shaped her journey.

As a physical therapist, Deanna focuses on helping individuals with pelvic floor dysfunction, including conditions like incontinence, constipation and pain, as well as lymphedema and cancer rehabilitation. Her approach emphasizes education and empowerment, ensuring patients have a clear understanding of the techniques and exercises designed to support their health and wellness. One piece of advice she frequently shares with her patients is to "breathe," a simple yet powerful tool in their healing process.

Deanna’s passion for physical therapy stems from her fascination with the human body and its capacity for movement to improve overall health. She believes in creating a collaborative and approachable environment to help patients reach their goals.

Outside of work, Deanna enjoys traveling, reading and working on crafts. She is committed to improving the quality of life for her patients while contributing to the health and vitality of her local community.
