Kiersten E. Pearce, PA-C

Kiersten E. Pearce, PA-C, discovered her passion for healthcare as a high school student after witnessing the exceptional care her grandmother received from advanced providers during her fight with lung cancer. She chose Mount Nittany Health because of its close-knit community and the chance to work in a community hospital setting. Having family nearby in DuBois, Pa. and fond childhood memories of visiting the area for Penn State swim meets, Kiersten feels a strong connection to the Centre Region.

As a healthcare provider, Kiersten is motivated by helping patients feel better and improving their quality of life. She takes pride in making a positive difference in her patients' well-being and seeing them return to normal, healthy lives.

Kiersten earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor of Health Science from Gannon University. Her clinical rotations gave her hands-on experience in specialties like internal medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine, family medicine, oncology, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, infectious disease and wound care.

Outside of work, Kiersten enjoys swimming, which she competed in for 12 years, including four years in college as an NCAA Academic All-American. She loves spending time with her parents, especially her mom, who she calls her best friend. She also adores her Cavapoo dog, Zazu, and has a passion for traveling, reading and all things Disney.
