About Me
Alyssa M. Sebastianelli, MSN, BSN, CRNP, DNP, joined Mount Nittany Health because of its strong reputation for delivering exceptional inpatient care. As a gastroenterology specialist, Alyssa is committed to providing personalized, patient-centered and evidence-based care. "My expertise lies in gastroenterology conditions; I aim to prevent, diagnose, and treat, thereby enhancing patients' quality of life," she said.
Alyssa is inspired by the relationships she builds with her patients. ""I really enjoy acting as a counselor to patients in their healthcare journey. I'm here to support and help them, answer their questions, and ease their worries,"" she explained.
A lifelong learner, Alyssa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Penn State, where she also recently completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a focus on leadership. Her DNP project, "Self-Management of Ascites in Patients with Cirrhosis," reflects her dedication to improving patient outcomes.
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog, Gigi. She’s a big fan of Penn State athletics and loves outdoor activities. Having grown up in Centre County, Alyssa feels deeply connected to her community and values the region’s focus on well-being and quality healthcare.
