About Me
Caroline R. McAllister, MD, is a dedicated family medicine provider with a passion for empowering patients through personalized, lifestyle-focused care. Her clinical interests include, lifestyle medicine, women’s health and preventative care.
Dr. McAllister brings a deep appreciation for rural communities and a commitment to accessible, holistic healthcare. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Allegheny College.
“I grew up on a small family farm and have always wanted to practice rural family medicine,” says Dr. McAllister. “I enjoy getting to know my patients and working with them on goals toward becoming healthier.”
Dr. McAllister’s approach to care is rooted in collaboration and goal-setting. She values direct communication and shared decision-making, believing that patients who actively participate in their care are best positioned to thrive. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking and spending time with loved ones.
