Important Update: Meditech Patient Portal Access

Your medical history matters — here’s how to save it

We’re moving to Epic’s MyChart on May 30, 2026 — giving your MyMountNittany patient portal a major upgrade.

Most of your information will move into Epic. However, our Health Information Management (HIM) team recommends that you download a full copy of your medical record by the end of day on May 30 from the Meditech portal. It could take 48 to 72 hours before your information is ready. Once complete, you’ll get an email letting you know your records are ready.

Follow these quick steps from your Meditech portal homepage:

Desktop Instructions: 

  1. After you log in to the portal, click the “Health Record” icon
  2. Look at the bottom right corner of your homepage
  3. Select “Download Medical Record”
  4. Click “Request Medical Record”
  5. Your request will show as Pending
  6. You’ll receive a notification once your download is ready

Mobile Instructions:

  1. After you log in to the portal, scroll down and click the “Download Medical Record” icon
  2. On the next screen, click “Request Medical Record”
  3. Your request will show as Pending
  4. You’ll receive a notification once your download is ready

Why this matters

While some data is already flowing into Epic, not all records will transfer. Downloading your full record ensures you have everything you need for future care, personal reference or sharing with providers.
