Minors and parents information

If you’re a parent to a child 14 years old or younger, you can request “Proxy Access” to access appointments and view medical records for your children through your own MyMountNittany account.

In order to protect the healthcare rights of minors in the Age of Majority, parents or guardians will not have access to their 14-17 year-old child’s patient portal account. Minors between the ages of 14-17 will need to request a new patient portal account of their own and can choose to “share” access to that account with their parent or guardian, if they wish to do so.
