Mount Nittany Health is proud to collaborate with Bellefonte, Bald Eagle, and State College School Districts to provide certified athletic trainers for all district sports programs. This collaboration ensures that student-athletes receive high quality, professional care to support their health and well-being both on and off the field.
Mount Nittany Health’s athletic trainers are present at practices, games, and events, offering expert guidance on injury prevention, emergency care, diagnosis, and rehabilitation. The growth of the training programs at three of our area school districts reflects Mount Nittany Health’s ongoing commitment to serving the local community and supporting youth sports programs.
“At Mount Nittany Health, we understand the importance of keeping student-athletes safe and healthy,” said Kevin Wilson, MD, Mount Nittany Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. “Our athletic trainers are skilled healthcare professionals who work closely with coaches, parents, and students to ensure that injuries are properly addressed and that athletes can continue to compete safely.”
Athletic trainers are a critical resource in today’s competitive sports environment, providing immediate care during injuries, managing recovery plans, and helping athletes return to play quickly and safely. Mount Nittany Health’s trainers will work alongside the three school districts’ athletic staff to help athletes stay in peak condition throughout the season.
“Mount Nittany Health has been a trusted healthcare provider in our community for years,” said Douglas Dyke, Athletic Director, Bald Eagle Area School District. “We’re excited to collaborate with them to provide our student-athletes with top-level care that will enhance both their performance and safety.”
