During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Mount Nittany Health recognizes the dedicated and compassionate Breast Care Center team for all they do for our patients and their loved ones. The staff at the Breast Care Center are dedicated to assisting patients throughout their journey and along with physicians, includes our team of Mammography Technologists, Clerk Receptionists, and a Patient Navigator.
The Mammography Technologists team is pivotal in saving lives with early detection and are committed to helping patients through their cancer care journey. Mammography Technologists operate specialized equipment and obtain images that help physicians detect breast cancer and other breast diseases in their earliest stages. This team is dedicated to supporting and providing one-on-one care to patients during this time while assisting physicians by producing the imaging they need.
