Mount Nittany Health is pleased to announce that its July 2022 Nurse Residency cohort recently graduated from the 12-month Nurse Residency program. A celebratory event took place on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, in the Mount Nittany Medical Center Auditorium, where the new graduates, their managers, and the Professional and Organizational Development team celebrated with cupcakes and a small ceremony.
“I am honored to recognize the remarkable achievements of the July 2022 Nurse Residency cohort,” said Lindsay Reiter, BSN, RN, Nurse Residency Program Coordinator, Mount Nittany Health. “As each one of our outstanding clinicians steps into the world of nursing with their newfound knowledge and skills, I hope they remember that their dedication and compassion set the foundation for providing exceptional patient care. I have no doubt that this incredible group will make a profound impact on our community.”
Led by the Professional and Organizational Development Department, Mount Nittany Health’s Nurse Residency program helps nursing professionals transition from academia to professional practice, providing them with opportunities to enhance their knowledge, clinical skills, and confidence in a supportive learning environment.
