Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Lauren Sullivan, AuD, is excited to return to her home state. She and her husband recently relocated from Virginia. They are eager to be part of the community and cheer on the Nittany Lions.

Dr. Sullivan was drawn to Mount Nittany Health’s commitment to excellence in patient care. “Mount Nittany consists of a multidisciplinary team that focuses on quality patient care and has access to the latest technology for diagnoses and treatment,” she explained.

Her approach to patient care emphasizes building strong relationships. “I strive to provide individualized, patient-centered care by building a patient-provider relationship built on trust and understanding,” Dr. Sullivan shared.

What motivates her most is helping patients rediscover the joy of hearing, “The ability to hear is very often taken for granted,” she noted. “My patients often say they wish they did something about their hearing loss sooner. Nothing makes me happier than improving a patient’s quality of life by simply allowing them to hear all their favorite sounds, whether a family member speaking or their favorite song.”

Dr. Sullivan specializes in diagnosing and treating hearing loss, tinnitus, and other hearing-related issues. She also offers hearing loss prevention options. “I’m happy to see any and all patients who may be experiencing hearing loss or tinnitus,” she said. “I also can provide hearing protection devices to individuals looking to protect their hearing in harmfully loud environments.”

Dr. Sullivan earned her Doctorate of Audiology from Central Michigan University. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
