Amy Young, RN

Amy Young, MSN, RN is a clinical diabetes educator dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with diabetes and other chronic conditions. A central Pennsylvania native, she is proud to care for patients in the community she has always called home.

With a passion for patient education, Amy focuses on empowering individuals to take charge of their health. She specializes in providing education and support for patients who are newly diagnosed with diabetes or who are navigating challenges in managing the condition. Amy approaches care with empathy, always encouraging patients to share their stories and involve loved ones in their journey. She believes that understanding each patient’s unique experience is key to building effective, personalized care plans.

Amy is known for her welcoming and supportive communication style, making patients feel at ease during appointments. Her favorite piece of advice? "Give yourself some grace. Dealing with a chronic condition isn’t easy." She works closely with patients to develop impactful strategies for managing diabetes and improving quality of life.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys reading, listening to audiobooks and watching cooking shows.
