About Me
After relocating to the area from San Diego, Mount Nittany Health aligned well with his commitment to providing exceptional, personalized care. “I like the small-town feel and patient-oriented approach practiced at Mount Nittany Health,” he shared.
With a philosophy centered on helping people, Dr. Driskill approaches each patient with the question, “How can I help this patient most?” He explains, “I have the great honor of helping people for a living; I believe it is a privilege to get to do that day after day.”
As a comprehensive ENT physician, Dr. Driskill treats a wide range of disorders. “The majority of my surgery in the last eight years has been nasal and sinus complaints,” he shared. “My favorite surgeries are septorhinoplasty (straightening out crooked noses), but I have extensive experience extending to the thyroid and other endocrine surgeries, post-cancer surgery monitoring, and neck mass removals—pretty much the full spectrum of ENT surgery.”
Dr. Driskill holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Uniformed Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. His expertise is further demonstrated by his experience as a medical expert witness and his publication on Sublingual Immunotherapy for Allergic Fungal Sinusitis.
Dr. Driskill’s background also includes significant military service. He completed his residency at Naval Hospital Portsmouth and was a staff physician and department head at various naval hospitals.
Outside of work, he leads an active and fulfilling life. He’s happily married to his wife, whom he met in the military. She is an attorney and soon-to-be Judge for the Department of Defense. They share a home with their 8-year-old Mini-Bull Terrier, Penny Lane. They have two grown sons. Dr. Driskill is also an amateur chef and gardener, enjoying their 4.5-acre property. "I stay pretty busy with those three things," he shared. “But, I also play guitar, sing (admittedly off-key), and enjoy traveling with my wife.”
