Jeff Pro is an EXCELLENT doctor, and this scale should have that rating category. I took care of both my parents for many years, through many illnesses, and I learned that some doctors are better at empathy and not as skilled; some are skilled and not as empathetic. Jeff is that rare doctor who is great at both. He is THE reason my husband and I stay with Mount Nittany. The other reason is the ability to call on the phone and speak with a nurse when you have an urgent need, rather than using the portal. Although I do appreciate the portal, I also appreciate the ability to call In with more urgent needs. And I also appreciate the ability to get an appointment In a few days with a Nurse Practioner or Physicians Assistant when needed. I have friends In other health systems who don't seem to be able to do that. So those 2 reasons: Dr. Pro and the ability to SPEAK to a health care professional by phone when I need to, rather than via the portal, are very very Important to me and my husband.
