Being told I have symptoms common to my age group was disappointing.

Maybe it was just an off day, he was behind etc but my appointment was extremely rushed. I was monitored in labor and delivery the day prior and would have appreciated a little pause or even false empathy to my concerns. As I was talking I could tell he was just nodding to get through it and his response was "okay we're just going to keep your next appointment." As fast as any human could possibly spit that out haha

It was just an awkward encounter with no empathy or concern for an issue I presented - which felt very important to me. Part of my inquiry was deferred to the medical student accompanying the doctor.

Overall this was not a great experience. I tried explaining what I've been going throughfamily history only to be told things didn't make sense and what I'm going through is very uncommon. That's how things work for me, I always end up with the uncommon things. I've been having worsening issues for months and thought coming to my doc would help me and I wound up in tears during the appointment instead. It felt very rushed and brushed off.
