Kayla Thompson is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care. She is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses.
Kayla received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Juniata College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University. Her professional experience includes time at community and specialized pediatric care centers in Central Pennsylvania and Ohio, most notably at Akron Children’s Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic.
Outside of work, Kayla spends time outdoors with her friends and family rock climbing, swimming, biking, and is a trail runner. As a dedicated trail runner, she helps organize trail running races and events in the area and runs ultramarathons.
