Kevin Anderson, PA-C

Kevin Anderson, PA-C, is a dedicated member of the orthopedic surgery team at Mount Nittany Medical Center, specializing in inpatient orthopedics. With a focus on treating fractures and joint pathology, he brings a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Kevin sees orthopedics as an opportunity to solve unique puzzles, working alongside patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific injuries and conditions.

Kevin began his healthcare journey as an athletic trainer working field-side, which led him to outpatient sports medicine and ultimately to orthopedic trauma after pursuing physician assistant training. His passion for helping patients regain their strength and mobility motivates him daily, ensuring they receive care tailored to their needs and circumstances.

As an inpatient provider, Kevin appreciates the flexibility to spend meaningful time with patients, ensuring they understand their injury or procedure and are confident in their care plan. He believes clear communication and thorough education are key components to supporting patients in their recovery.

A Penn State graduate, Kevin has a strong connection to the State College community and was drawn back to the area for its outdoor recreation opportunities and small-town charm. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys gardening, hiking, trail running and wildlife and habitat restoration. He is also a Pennsylvania Master Naturalist, demonstrating his commitment to environmental stewardship.
