Kristen Long, PA-C

Kristen Long, PA-C, is a dedicated healthcare professional specializing in vascular medicine with over 14 years of experience treating both pediatric and adult patients. Originally from Clearfield County, Kristen returned to the Centre Region after living in several other states, drawn by her love for the area and its community-focused healthcare opportunities.

Kristen earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a science and medical option from Penn State University, a certificate in invasive cardiovascular technology from Lancaster General School of Nursing and Health Sciences, and her Master of Health Science in physician assistant studies from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.

Her career has spanned diverse roles, including positions in vascular surgery, interventional radiology and internal medicine. Her extensive clinical experience includes performing and assisting with procedures such as arterial bypass grafting, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm repairs and minimally invasive treatments using imaging guidance. Kristen is passionate about vascular medicine because it allows her to form lasting connections with patients throughout their treatment journey, from initial consultations to procedures and ongoing follow-up care.

Outside of work, Kristen enjoys running, competing in triathlons, and cheering on her two sons during their sports seasons. She is an avid Penn State fan who loves attending wrestling matches and football games with her family. Kristen also finds joy in baking, reading and volunteering with organizations such as Night to Shine, which supports individuals with special needs. She strives to create genuine connections with her patients, ensuring they leave their visits informed, cared for and comfortable.
