About Me
Lorraine Rosamilia, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist who has been caring for patients in central Pa. for more than 16 years. A native of Lock Haven, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from the University of Richmond, graduating summa cum laude with a minor in Chemistry. She went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine followed by an internal medicine internship and dermatology residency from Penn State at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
Dr. Rosamilia treats patients of all ages and provides comprehensive dermatologic care, including management of skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, acne, infectious diseases of the skin and a wide variety of rashes and growths. She also offers telehealth appointments to ensure accessible care. Her philosophy of care is rooted in the belief that “if it bothers you, it bothers me,” reflecting her commitment to addressing every patient concern with compassion and expertise.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Rosamilia is an active leader in healthcare advocacy. She serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) and is a delegate to the American Medical Association (AMA). She participates in national and state advocacy conferences, working to advance policies that improve healthcare for patients and physicians alike. She is also a dedicated educator, mentoring dermatology residents, medical students, physician assistant students and nursing staff, while lecturing at national and regional conferences.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Rosamilia enjoys traveling with her husband and two children — they have visited all seven continents. She is also passionate about trail running, piano, live music, theatre, soccer and pickleball.
