Sarah Gallardy, CRNP

Sarah was drawn to Mount Nittany Health for its excellent reputation among healthcare providers and the ExpressCARE model. "I really enjoy convenience care locations,” she said. “I get to meet and treat more people using my training and experience.”
Sarah's philosophy of care is simple yet powerful: "I care for my patients as if they are my family members." This approach allows her to provide personalized, compassionate care to everyone she serves.

One of Sarah's primary motivations as a healthcare provider is patient education. "I like being able to teach patients. People often don't understand their health and how their bodies work. I like to help give them the autonomy to understand so they have more control over their healthcare," she shared. “Many times, people just go along without asking questions. I like to give them the confidence to ask questions, voice their concerns, and get help."

Sarah values open communication with her patients and appreciates it when they share their medical history. "I always appreciate it when patients take the time to share their medical history. I like to hear what has helped them. If there were approaches that didn't work or they did like, we can work together on their care plan," she emphasized.

Sarah holds a Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner from Pennsylvania State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys being outdoors, spending quality time with her son, and attending Penn State football games. She is also a proud member of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
