About Me

Weldon J. Miller, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a strong foundation in both clinical care and medical research. A strong advocate for compassionate, evidence-based medicine, Dr. Miller emphasizes safety, clarity and respect, ensuring patients feel supported throughout their hospital stay. He is the 2024 recipient of the Frank Steck Award for his care of Spinal Cord Injury patients at the Altoona VA Medical Center.

Dr. Miller previously served as a hospitalist and utilization resource manager at Mount Nittany Medical Center and held multiple leadership roles at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center in Altoona, Pa. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, reading, biking and spending time with his family.
