When you are admitted to Mount Nittany Medical Center an experienced group of dedicated providers will care for your health needs. This group focuses on treating acute problems and helping you navigate your journey throughout your hospital stay. They are committed to understanding your needs and ensuring a smooth transition to your recovery after you leave the Medical Center.
Treatments / Services
Hospitalists provide care to patients admitted to the hospital. They ensure you undergo the right tests and procedures and manage your treatment plan.
From the moment you’re admitted to Mount Nittany Medical Center, our hospitalists review your health records and gather information to create a care plan.
When it’s time for you to leave, hospitalists ensure a seamless transition. Your medical details are shared with your primary care physician and/or other specialty providers. If you don’t have a primary care physician, we’ll help you connect with one. We’ll let them know about the care you received while at the Medical Center.
For the best recovery, we urge you to schedule a follow-up appointment with your primary care doctor.
