We are excited to welcome Kelly J. Eyer, CRNP, to the Mount Nittany Health Primary Care family. Born and raised in the Centre Region, Kelly has always dreamed of working with Mount Nittany Health, drawn to our philosophy of striving to meet and exceed patient expectations.
“I feel like this is my upbringing and that this is where I belong,” Kelly shared, expressing her deep connection to the community. With her father residing in Milheim, Pa., Kelly is excited to serve the area she calls home.
Kelly’s philosophy of care is rooted in attentive listening. “I always listen to my patients because they will tell you what is wrong if you listen long enough, and it’s easier to help figure out their treatment,” she explained. Kelly sees patients of all ages for routine care, including acute and chronic follow-ups, pre-op clearance, mental health, and physicals.
As a healthcare provider, Kelly finds inspiration in the positive feedback she receives from her patients. Knowing that she has helped them control their blood pressure or manage their diabetes fuels her passion for providing exceptional care. Building trust and establishing strong relationships with her patients is at the core of her practice.
“I want my patients to know I’m very personable and down-to-earth,” Kelly emphasized. “They can trust that I will listen and help them, and they should feel comfortable talking to me about anything.”
Kelly has a master’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University.
Outside of work, Kelly cherishes spending time with her blended family, which includes five children, two dogs, two cats, and a bunny. Her daughter’s competition cheerleading keeps the family busy and active. Kelly also enjoys kayaking, hiking, and creating country rustic and farmhouse-style crafts.
