Accessing and managing your health information is an important part of your care. That's where your MyMountNittany (Epic MyChart) patient portal comes in. It offers a convenient and secure way to stay connected with your care team. Below, we’ve answered some common questions about MyMountNittany, so you can make the most of your account.

What is MyMountNittany?

MyMountNittany is a secure online portal that allows you to access your health information, schedule appointments, communicate with your care team and more — all in one place. It’s available 24/7 through your computer, tablet or smartphone.

Why the transition from Meditech to MyChart?

Meditech has served us well, but we are committed to improving how we deliver care and communicate with our patients. MyChart offers enhanced features, greater accessibility and improved functionality, making it a more effective tool for managing your healthcare.

How do I sign up for MyMountNittany?

The Meditech patient portal will no longer be available after May 30, 2026. When the portal launches and if you have an upcoming appointment, you’ll receive a unique link to sign up for MyMountNittany.

If you do not have an upcoming appointment after May 20, you can sign up for MyMountNittany by answering some short questions.

Can I access MyMountNittany on my smartphone?

Yes, you can download the MyChart app for free on your Apple or Android device. Once downloaded, select Mount Nittany Health as your provider and log in using your MyMountNittany username and password.

If you already use MyChart, you select “Add Organization” and can search for “MyMountNittany.” It’s as easy as that!

Is my information safe on MyMountNittany?

Yes, MyMountNittany is designed with your privacy and security in mind. It uses advanced encryption and secure logins to keep your health information protected.

What features are available in MyMountNittany?

With MyMountNittany, you can:

  • View test results and health summaries
  • Schedule and manage appointments
  • Message your care team

  • View and pay your bills securely
  • Manage proxy access within your account

Can I access my child’s or other family member’s MyMountNittany information?

Yes, you can request proxy access to manage the MyMountNittany account of a child or another adult (with their permission). Proxy access allows you to view their health information and perform certain actions on their behalf.

What should I do if I forget my MyMountNittany username or password?

Simply click “Forgot Username” or “Forgot Password” on the MyMountNittany login page and follow the prompts to recover your account.

Can I use MyMountNittany for emergencies?

No, MyMountNittany should not be used for urgent medical situations. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or visit the nearest Emergency Department.
