The Joseph V. and Suzanne P. Paterno Women and Children’s Services unit is the largest of its kind in Central Pennsylvania, welcoming nearly 1,300 babies each year. Recently, U.S. News & World Report named Mount Nittany Medical Center among only 10 Pennsylvania Hospitals to be ranked as high performing for maternity care in its list of Best Hospitals for Maternity. These accolades are a testament to the dedicated providers, nurses, and support staff who work within the Women and Children’s Services unit, and provide exceptional clinical care to the community.
