Carol Reed, Environmental Services Specialist, is a positive and enthusiastic team member who serves Mount Nittany Health’s Surgical Center. She is the ultimate team player who always goes above and beyond to lend a helping hand or to do anything that is asked of her. Even on the busiest days, Carol maintains her cheerful demeanor and always has a smile on her face. Mount Nittany Health was honored to celebrate Carol as one of its Employees of the Month.
“Teamwork is helping and supporting each other, while being kind and respectful.”
Each day, Carol inquires about how she can positively contribute to the work flow at the Surgical Center. She continually holds herself to the highest standards by doing whatever she can to lighten the workload of her fellow colleagues and to make their jobs easier.
Carol’s nominator applauded her dedication and commitment: “Carol is hands down one of the hardest working people I know and quite possibly the hardest worker at the surgical center. We are so lucky to have her on our team and I hope she knows how much we all appreciate her!”
Carol is originally from Milesburg, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Bald Eagle Area High School. Mount Nittany Health has been fortunate to have her as a team member for more than 10 years.
Although it came as no surprise to those lucky enough to work with her, Carol was shocked and grateful to be named as an Employee of the Month. When asked what she loves most about her job, she focused on her fellow colleagues: “Being part of the Environmental Services team keeps you on your toes. I really enjoy being around the other team members and I want them to know how much I appreciate this great honor.”
We applaud Carol’s years of service to Mount Nittany Health and celebrate her commitment to creating a stronger community through her exceptional service.
