Dustin Steiner, Environmental Services Aide, is an incredible asset to Mount Nittany Health and the Mount Nittany Medical Center. His colleagues and supervisors continually praise him for going above and beyond in his duties, while always demonstrating a positive, upbeat, and helpful attitude.
Dustin has been nominated for Employee of the Month numerous times, and each nomination acknowledges his incredible work ethic. He exemplifies Mount Nittany Health’s core values of caring, excellence, integrity, respect, teamwork, and stewardship. For the Employee of the Month honor, he is being recognized for his excellence, and continually acting in the best interests of the patients and organization.
Dustin’s nominator praised his positive attitude and dedication: “For years and years I have watched Dustin bust his behind to no end. He never stops working. He never complains, and always shows up to work with a smile on his face. During night shift, he is a one-man crew, but it seems like he is always taking on the work of three additional people. I hope he knows how much he is appreciated, and I would love to see him recognized for his hard work and commitment to his job. We would be so lost without him.”
Dustin is from Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, and graduated from West Branch High School. He has served the community as an environmental services aide at Mount Nittany Health for more than 17 years.
Dustin was surprised and grateful to be selected as the July 2023 Employee of the Month. “I love seeing how much better the rooms look after I’ve cleaned them, and I love having the opportunity to work in all different areas of the Medical Center,” said Dustin. “I really appreciate this incredible honor because I know there are so many great employees to choose from.”
When Dustin isn’t busy serving the community through his job within the health system, he enjoys playing video games with his friends, watching movies, and relaxing with his family.
He is grateful for the love and support of his wonderful family, including his mother, Sandy Jones, and his stepfather, Jimmy Jones.
